Machu Picchu, Peru
Action Lee was photographed by Lucy Morgan overlooking Machu Picchu - the pre-Columbian Inca site located 2,430 metres (8,000 ft) above sea level.
Often referred to as "The Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu is one of the most familiar symbols of the Inca Empire.
Machu Picchu was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Since it was not plundered by the Spanish when they conquered the Incas, it is especially important as a cultural site and is considered a sacred place.

Action Lee - Behind the scenes
Coba, Mexico
The blog may be out-of-date but Action Lee has still been busy seeing the world.
This photo was sent in by Christine Busette way back in July 2008.
Action Lee is resting at the foot of a Mayan Pyramid in Coba, Mexico.
Coba means "ruffled waters", and is derived from the five lakes in the vicinity.
It is one of the oldest Mayan settlements on the peninsular and over 10,000 miles away from his last port of call (Cambodia)!

Action Lee on the Moon!
OK, he's not really on the Moon. Action Lee has now traveled over 74,000 miles. Roughly equivalent to 3 times around the Equator or 1/3 of the way to the Moon.
To celebrate this little landmark this photo was knocked-up.
It was acheived using an authentic wardrobe, green screen backdrop technology and a little Photoshop magic.
So, about as authentic as the official Apollo Moon photos!

Bokor Hill, Cambodia
Action Lee visited the remains of the hotel at Bokor Hill Station, 3000ft above sea level.
It was a getaway for ex-pats and the wealthy in the 1950s and 1960s to escape the heat and humidity of Pnom Penh, but fell into ruin after the Khmer Rouge used it as a garrison.
It was one of the Khmer Rouge 's last strongholds, but now it's covered in a red lichin moss.
Action Lee is stood with Andy Kervell.

Istanbul, Turkey
Historically known as Byzantium and later Constantinople, Action Lee took in the sights of the Blue Mosque & the Bosphorus. Being the only metropolis in the world situated on two continents he took a trip across the river to step into Asia for an afternoon.
Here he is with his travel companion Andy Pringle, all round good guy and Editor of the Fifth Gear website.

Manukan Island, Borneo
Sticking with Caroline & Paul Action Lee popped across to Borneo.
He is relaxing on the beach of the dolphin shaped Manukan Island - one of the best tropical island destinations in Borneo.
Located about 20 minutes by boat from Kota Kinabalu, Manukan Island is blessed with a long stretch of white sandy beach.

Elgin Bridge, Singapore
Action Lee has travelled to Singapore with Caroline & Paul Shaw.
Here he is seen in front of the Elgin Bridge that spans across the Singapore River and links the Downtown Core to the Singapore River Planning Area.
The existing bridge was completed in 1929, and was named after a Governor-General of India, Lord Elgin (1862–1863). As this was the first bridge to be built across the river, the two roads leading to it were named North Bridge Road and South Bridge Road accordingly.

The Pyrenees
The Pyrenees are a range of mountains in southwest Europe that form a natural border between France and Spain.
They separate the Iberian Peninsula from France, and extend for about 430 km from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea.
Here's Action Lee with his travel buddies Samantha Dewhirst (L) and Holly Evans (R).

Lee's gone to Iceland!
Action Lee has made it to the world's most Northern capital - Reykjavik, Iceland.
Here he is relaxing at the Blue Lagoon, Iceland's most unique and popular attraction. Guests enjoy bathing and relaxing in the warm (37-39°C) Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater, known for its positive effects on the skin.
The Blue Lagoon holds six million liters of geothermal seawater, which is renewed every 40 hours.
Judging by the coat, the weather looks a little too cold for A.L. to dive in!

Essaouira, Morocco
Action Lee is on the top of the L'Heure Bleu Hotel in Essaouira on the west coast of Morocco, which is a holiday resort for those looking to get away from the heat of the interior of the country.
It's a port town and regarded as one of the best ports for shipping. The Spanish, French and Brits all tried to conquer it but with no success.
The Medina is a World Heritage site and Action Lee had a stroll through the maze of streets where you can buy anything from a carpet to a scooter.

Plettenberg Bay, South Africa
Action Lee travelled to South Africa with Patrick & Julia Dodd-Noble.
Here he is in front of Bloukrans Bridge - the highest single span bridge in the world, 20 km outside Port Elizabeth.
The world's highest bungee jump is operated from here, but reports of Action Lee participating are unconfirmed.
He has now travelled 39, 223.55 miles.
Barcelona, Spain
Here's Action Lee with his new best friend Sergi Guinon Campos.
They are standing outside the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's yet to be finished cathedral in Barcelona.
